In the heart of Geneva, Beatriz Prieto has found a hidden gem and transformed it into a contemporary home with character. After living in London and Geneva, the Spanish-born creative is now about to move to New York to become the new Luxury Marketing Insights Director for an international fragrance company. Warmly welcomed, we take you along for the visit of her beautifully styled abode.
Taking inspiration and bringing design pieces from her travels around the world, Beatriz mixes Northern inspiration with a Southern touch. Thanks to a pale pink sofa, a tropical bed head or yellow chairs, she adds a hint of colours to each room and thus, brightens the sleek interior.
While design classics meet contemporary creation, clean lines always take over. Indeed, she carefully chooses her furniture, may it be a concrete side table spotted in a small shop in London or a bigger designer piece. That way, she harmoniously combines the modern Hay sofa and Hem table with the timeless Womb armchair by Eero Saarinen and Grasshopper lamp designed by Greta Grossmann and reedited by Gubi.
With her eye for beautiful things, this design lover and world traveler pays great attention to details. For blankets, pillows, rugs, cups and prints, geometric patterns rule. She definitely plays it graphic! On top, she dares mixing material. Thus, concrete and metallic surfaces complete each other perfectly to create a warm and cosy atmosphere
Let’s take a tour!
