The creative entrepreneur Virginie Peny warmly welcome us in her Zürich home. After working as a renowned DIY blogger, she decided to combine her writing and media skills with her retail knowledge to launch her new venture Peny Creative Services and thus, help local businesses grow.
Raised in France, she lived in Germany and Austria, before reaching Zürich four years ago, where she enjoys the hip and laid-back atmosphere of the Kreis 3. Her home reflects her creativity and her philosophy: focusing on less but better.
Carefully chosen, each piece tells a story. Shopped locally with a sustainable vision, the vintage furniture is personalised and harmoniously mixed with contemporary chairs designed by Phillippe Starck for Kartell. Hands-on, she keeps a crafts corner, replaces the missing leg of her armchair in a creative way and dresses up her kitchen wall with a costume full of good memories.
Vintage finds and new interior accessories give a soul to this cosy appartement where it’s all about details! Instead of buying online, she prefers to pick her favourites in local stores: the bottle at Soeder, the illustrations by Swiss artist Alexis Saile, a Notre Monde’s wooden plate and a skull candle from Objects.
Let’s enter this creative home styled with character.
